Odour Kill

Odour Kill - Virtually eliminates any odour !

Traditional “air fresheners” that are in use worldwide are technically known as “masking agents” for odours. The concept we are use to is simple - when you want to make a bad or stale smelling room/vehicle smell better, you spray a nice smell around. The idea being that by overwhelming the bad odour with a good odour, you wont smell the bad odour. Unfortunately this is only of limited use - for slight odours only.

Wouldn’t it be better to “remove” the offending odour ? This is now possible !

On a molecular level odours originating from a “soiled” surface, being air borne wil permeate through the surrounding surfaces of its location. Even after the soiled surface is thoroughly cleaned the smell will often remain. When Odour Kill is then sprayed in a fine mist - it will penetrate and “bond” with the odour molecules, whilst remaining neutral to the surfaces it is sprayed. The result is that these molecules are then encapsulated in the Odour Kill, virtually eliminating any trace of the smell.

Odour Kill Works

Non Toxic, non staining, and non bleaching.

Application

  1. Clean the soiled area thoroughly, removing any “physical” trace of the particles causing the odour.
  2. Let dry.
  3. Spray Odour Kill onto all surfaces in the surrounding area, wherever the smell may have gone.
  4. Wait until thoroughly dry (usually half an hour or so).
  5. If anywhere was missed, re-apply in those areas.

Typical Situations:

  • Smoke odour in cars - First spray the entire interior of the car; seats, dash, rear deck, floor - front and back, hoodlining (even if vinyl), and door panels. Then turn fan/air conditioner on (with flow control turned to “inside”) and spray to the air inlets - usually found under the dash. This is an important step that may need to be repeated as this is an often neglected area of detailing. Before closing the doors, a final misting front and rear can be applied. Leave doors closed for a few minutes, then open to dry.
  • Urine in carpet. - Since the source in this case is below the surface of the carpet, cleaning is somewhat difficult. It is recommended that 200mls or so be poured onto the soiled area after cleaning, and before the spraying/misting of the surrounding areas. Leave to dry thoroughly. Check for areas missed.
  • Pet Odour. - Often pet odour is controlled by simply spraying the entire affected area.
  • Drains - Drains in commercial situations such as kitchens grease traps and so on can be treating with spray or direct application. In severe situations, the addition of Sierra’s Grease Trap Treatment will eliminate the cause of the foul odour, however in normal situations, prior treatment with chlorine is sufficient.
